Founded in 1969, the Birth Centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi, VVS Gandhi Centenary School is the
Primary wing of the Vidya Vardhaka Sangha.
Guided by the motto “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” — Education that Liberates —
the school has been committed to nurturing young minds through value-based
and holistic education for over five decades. The institution strives to provide
high-quality education while fostering discipline, compassion, integrity, and a
spirit of service among students.
At VVS Gandhi Centenary School, education goes beyond academics. The
school believes in the holistic development of every child by integrating
culture, spirituality, ethics, heritage, environmental awareness, sports, and
creative hobbies into the learning process. Offering classes from Play School (3
years) to Std VII, the institution provides a strong foundation during the
formative years of a child's life. With around 1000 students and nearly 60
qualified, dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members, the school
creates a nurturing and joyful environment where children are encouraged to
discover their talents, build confidence, and grow into responsible individuals.
Over the years, the school has grown in leaps and bounds while remaining
steadfast in its vision of setting high standards in education. Through
innovative teaching practices, co-curricular activities, and value-oriented
learning experiences, the institution ensures the all-round development of its
students. Every initiative of the school reflects its mission of shaping young
learners who are academically competent, culturally rooted, socially
responsible, and prepared to face the challenges of the modern world with
confidence and character.
